About this demo

Actions Webshop is a demo storefront built to test agentic actions on a webpage: an AI agent can search products, build a basket, and hand a human a shareable link to review and check out. There is no real payment processing and no login — checkout is fake, and a basket becomes read-only ("sealed") once it's paid.

Agent discovery

Every page links to /.well-known/agent-card.json, an agent-card describing the shopper actions (search, view basket, add/remove items, get a checkout link) and the plain REST endpoints behind them. This follows the spirit of emerging agent-interop conventions such as Google's A2A protocol's well-known agent card. These standards are still actively evolving and not finalized — this site adopts the discovery pattern pragmatically rather than implementing any single spec precisely.

What's not exposed to agents

Catalog management (creating, editing, deleting products) is an admin-only surface, gated by a token, and is intentionally left out of the agent card — it is not meant to be discoverable or callable by shopper agents.

Formats

Catalog and basket pages are available as HTML (for people), Markdown (human- and agent-readable), and JSON (for programmatic access) — look for the format links at the bottom of each page.
